I couldn't believe the hype - until I installed it.

I definitely get better gas mileage, and I replace my paper filters every year.

I can't speak to horsepower. The Rabbit seems just as peppy as always.

I installed this air filter about a month ago, but haven't really noticed much difference in the horse power or the gas mileage. I decided to get this one because VW's filters have to be special ordered, plus if you get on from the service department they will cost you an arm and a leg. I think over the years it will save a few dollars... we'll see.
