I bought this for my 9 year old son's Ipod nano. The unit is a nice design and I needed a small unit for his room with an alarm clock. The settings are not the most intuitive to use, usually I can figure out most gadgets without the instructions. This one I had to use the book. The unit sounded fine for what I needed it for and charged the nano fine. The main problem is that I am in the process of sending it back because in less than 30 days the buttons stopped responding and I can not charge, play or set the alarm. The item was a Christmas present so of course (although it has been in use for less than 30 days), I was more than 30 days from purchase so now I have to send it to the mfr for replacement. Will have to see if the next unit last longer.

Nice looking item, Originaly it was a Radio, Ipod player and Alarm Clock. No radio but you can just play your Ipod or have the Alarm come on ot play it. Looks nice, If had to buy again would pay the extra for the Radio included!
